Name:Snowberry Age:twenty-five moons Rank:Medicine cat Gender:she-cat Sexuality:straight Appearance:A white and brown she-cat with icy blue eyes. Personality:Snowberry is much, much too motherly for her own good. She scolds and she praises and yes, it might rub some cats the wrong way but she couldn't care less. Now she does know when she needs to back off and she does. However when she knows she needs to push, there is no stopping her. Pushing is one of Snowberry's specialties, but she only does it if she thinks the one being pushed will benefit from it. She's very observant, whether she looks like it or not. She learned to suck in the little details in her appreticeship. Snowberry is actually quite good at telling truth from lie. She almost never calls others out on a lie, though, unless she deems it necessary. She feels that they know they are lying, and she hopes that it will bug them enough that they spill the truth. And if she has to cast a few knowing glances their way, well, of course she will. Cats can take a hint from her. If there is one thing she absolutely, positively cannot stand is someone getting in her way. Whether is be physical, for example, if a cat is ill in her den, she cannot have other cats lingering around, watching her. She will snap, and she will yell. Snowberry needs space to breathe and space to think. She actually very much enjoys being alone at times because she can clear her mind of unwanted thoughts and just reflect. Reflect on her clan, on herself, on StarClan, whatever it may be. She likes to take walks to do this too. Snowberry sometimes likes to drag a warrior along with her, saying she needs "help" with some herb-collecting, but she just does it to get the cat alone with her. One of her favorite things is just getting to know these cats that are her family, one-by-one. Alone. She wants to know their thoughts and their struggles, and she prods them on these walks. She often wonders when warriors will stop wanting to go on walks with her because of her invading questions. The thought makes her laugh a little. Lastly, Snowberry is very stuck to her ways. She's not persuaded easily, she sticks to her gut. She knows what her heart wants, and she listens to it. Her heart is her family, her clan, and she figures if she follows it, she'll be in a pretty good spot. It might get her in a little trouble in the meantime, as it is said, the end justifies the means. History:Her mother and father grew up together, yet, not really. Yes, they grew up in the same moons but their paths never really crossed. Her mother stuck with her sister. Her father was off, chasing some other kit around. As they became apprentices, still, they never really trained together. MistClan was plentiful of apprentices at the time, so there were always others to practice with. It was not until the two apprentices became warriors, Icenose and Reedpelt, that they noticed each other. Actually, the feelings came suddenly, and hit them both hard. The two had been on a dawn patrol, making small talk, watching the sun rise above the horizon and paint the sky with pastels. Icenose was padding closest to a shimmering stream that ran through MistClan's territory. She glanced at Reedpelt and shrugged, veering off towards the water. Reedpelt had stopped, curious as to why the white she-cat was currently paddling into the water. He caught himself staring as the sun glinted off the dew drops stuck on her pelt. How long the pair stayed that way was unknown. Reedpelt's heart beat picked up as the bobbing head of Icenose suddenly disappears under the water. Surely she was fine? She's a MistClan cat, she knows how to swim? He finds himself running anyways, into the water. As his own head sinks under the water, Reedpelt now sees why Icenose had faltered; there was a large dip in where her paws were, and she had not been expecting it. When he gets close enough, he grabs her scruff in his jaws and yanks up. His paws are soon grasping at the bank and he heaves Icenose along with him. She's gasping and coughing like him, and he collapses next to her. They lay there like that for a long time, facing eachother, letting their breathes even out as they mingle in the cool morning air. Reedpelt just says it. It just comes out. Because he realizes, as he's staring at her, that he's completely in love with her. She just gives him this blank look for a few seconds, and then bursts out laughing, and in the end, they're both trying to catch their breath, again. And that's how Snowkit came along. She and her sister, Dawnkit, were born into the world on a quiet new-leaf night. They were very close as kits, and still are today. Apprenticehood came, and Snowpaw knew she was not meant for the path of a warrior. She had struggled the first few moons of her training with her medicine cat mentor. She didn't grasp it. But after a walk with her mentor, one green-leaf, she just . . . felt different. Something just clicked inside of her and she knew she could do this. Her mentor could sense it too, just walking next to her. He could tell something shifted and a small smile tugged his lips the rest of the silent walk back to camp. She is now Snowberry, and she could not imagine things to be any different then they are now.
